Matt Hasselbeck in his NFL Story for Super Bowl Sunday
by: Sarah

Poor Matt Hasselbeck, all he wants is for fans to notice him and for him to make it to the Super Bowl like the Giants and Patriots.

was pretty funny in this Super Bowl, “Brett Farve doesn’t answer all of his fan mail, do you think you could get his autograph for me?” Poor Hasselbeck, there has to be some fans out there, lets send him some mail.

Hasselbeck plays quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks, home of Jones Soda… I still think ew when I see that soda.

Russell Crowe talks about perfection before the NE Patriots lost the Super Bowl
by: Sarah

The almost perfect New England Patriots were almost perfect when they went up against the New York Giants. They made one false move, letting the Giants take the lead.

This advert with Russell Crowe narrating is a little over the top, kind of like they expected nothing else but an easy win. They were WRONG!

The New York Giants have pulled off one of the biggest upsets in National Football League history, defeating the heavily favored New England Patriots, 17-14, to win Super Bowl 42 and deny New England an undefeated season.

Update: Since I completely forgot to put this in earlier, what is Russell Crowe, from Australia, doing the voice over for an American Football advert.  Is it that his voice is just that damn good?  I mean, I can’t complain really, his voice carries the point well, and I don’t personally think that Chris Rock [no offense Mr. Rock lol] could have done a better job.  But any thoughts on this?

The Giants and the Patriots head to the Super Bowl!!
by: Sarah

giants vs. packersWith the game in overtime the New York Giant’s Lawrence Tynes kicks a game winning 47-yard field goal.  Tonight the Giants played against the Green Bay Packers in a 23-20 score victory to take them to Super Bowl XLIII.

This year the Super Bowl is in Glendale, Arizona, home of the Cardinals.  The New England Patriots are undefeated up until this point, so people are expecting another victory under their belts.

If the New England Patriots win the Super Bowl they will become the second team in NFL history to go undefeated.  Patriots and their 18-0 season are playing against the Giants who are 13-6.  Who are you going to bet on?

Read more about their overtime field goal victory.
