Greenpeace is trying to name a friendly humpback whale. Greenpeace gave the opportunity to submit names, “More than 11,000 possible whale names were submitted but we are now down to the last 30 possible whale names…which ones will be given to the wonderful humpback whales currently traveling on the Great Whale Trail?” The usual plethora of ‘hippie’ names were submitted from names like Aiko, meaning ‘little love’ in Japanese to , meaning ’song’ in the Wagiman Aboriginal language of Australia. But with all the different languages and strange words the only one to stand out was Mister Splashy Pants.
Naturally, Mister Splashy Pants has taken the lead with currently having 70% of the total votes. Kudos to 4 Chan for their incredible power to put the word out there.
Do not allow Greenpeace to take Mister Splashy Pants off the name list. They put it on there because it was funny, lets make the name known, lets make them use it. Greenpeace says, “ - is just too funny to leave out,” and “but the one that had us laughing the most, which is not to say it will get into the list of top names, was definitely the name Mister Splashy Pants.” Mister Splashy Pants must live on!
Go vote for Mister Splashy Pants!
