As expected Sarah Palin showed up on SNL before the election.

Here are the 2 clips of her. One is the opening and the other is during the SNL News segment.

We have posted some clips over the years from the Bill Maher show on HBO.

I’m not a huge fan of the show but I do watch because some of it is funny and he does have some good guests on.

This clip is from this weeks show, the opening, where Bill addresses how well Sarah Palin did during the debate (compared to how well many thought she might do) and then he focuses in on the winking she does during the debate.

He sets it all up with quotes from Rich Lowry of the National Review ( I was just on the site and they have her winking on the home page).

I did notice the winking when I watched the debate but when they are all cut into one clip it is pretty funny.

By posting this video I am not choosing a side, I was just tying in with the other Palin related video posted today, and I think it’s funny that 1,500 people from her state don’t even like her. Some of the funny quotes I had seen were:

“Palin scares this working mom”
“Support the freedom of choice act”
“Why do sexists support Sarah?”
“Just Pretty”

There was I had watched on the same topic and this 80 year old woman said she wants to see the “right government for a change.”

It was no surprise, if you read online celebrity sites, that Tina Fey was going to be back to open the new season of SNL with her playing Governor Sarah Palin. I’m sure this clip is everywhere by now.

Pretty good opening but the rest of the show and the musical guest Lil Wayne sucked (I have the video of his first song to post later), I will focus on the poor fitting pants.

Michael Phelps tried but he is no actor and the writing seemed like the writers are still on strike. Even the digital short was worthless. Not a great season opener.
