Naked Cowboy’s legal battle
Well, it’s been about three months since I heard about the Naked Cowboy’s journey to sue the Mars Inc. for copyright infringement and I just found out that the judge is allowing the case to go to court. Good for the Naked Cowboy, but $4 million dollars is an awful lot of money, especially if all you buy is whitey tighties.
Big question I’m wondering, what is he going to wear in the courtroom?
The Naked Cowboy takes on more than the weather in the lawsuit vs. Mars Inc.
While reading a very informative article on CNN about the said Naked Cowboy I learned, “The Naked Cowboy’s name and likeness are in fact registered trademarks owned by Burck.”
The Naked Cowboy has covered his little whitey tighty behind by registering his name and likeness as trademarks, so many people believe he has a solid case, much like the Vanna White versus Samsung
She was awarded $403,000 when Samsung used a robot, wearing a blond wig, jewelry and a dress, that turned letters on a game board similar to White’s role on “Wheel of Fortune,” the TV game show.
