I’m A Mac and I’m A PC | Bake Sale
by: Stuart

We have posted several of the I’m A Mac ads, some are funny, some are just not very good.

I have seen 2 of these now talking about MSFT Vista should be spending it’s money on fixing Vista and not on expensive marketing campaigns.

I must say I was hoping for something more, more creative and interesting from Apple to address the “I’m A PC, Not a Stereotype” commercials.

By-the-way, I’m a PC not a stereotype. I do all my creative work on Vista rigs (because it really doesn’t matter what you use). I have been running Vista on 3 machines - do everything from branding, design and video editing on them all and had zero problems with Vista.

Microsoft - I’m A PC 2
by: Stuart

Here is the second one I have seen of the I’m a PC campaign, might have seen the 3rd tonight after the debate. I’m not sure because they are using some of the same people and different cuts.

I think these could get good and the reception to them seems better than the Jerry and Bill openers.

Microsoft | I’m a PC
by: Stuart

In the latest installment from the Microsoft ad campaign, Jerry is gone but Bill makes an appearance.

“I’m a PC” is a direct jab at the Mac ads, which is a good move and as a PC user wanting MSFT to speak up for the majority of computer users it’s over due. If the ad sucked it would be a huge backfire but I like the real users angle even down to the MSFT guy that looks like the PC guy in the Mac commercials.

Sure there is risk taking on the smaller guy but if you get called out, I say fight back. Check out I’m a PC and Not a Stereotype.  Send in why you are not what Apple thinks you are.

This first ad shows real people using a PC in real world situations which is a huge difference between the ads.

What will be interesting is how Apple responds. Are we in for a ad-dance-off? I hope so, it will be fun to watch.
