Brett Farve finally retires after 17 seasons
by: Sarah

Brett FavreWell it is official, Brett Favre has finally quit threatening, and has actually announced his retirement from the NFL after a 17-season stretch.  That’s right!  Brett Favre of the Greenbay Packers, one of the most well known players, hell, even I know who Favre is, is quitting.

Although, I am not too shocked, he has been teasing us with his retirement for quite some time.  That’s okay though, Brett, put your feet up and relax.  Have fun being retired!

He retires with 5,377 career completions in 8,758 attempts for 61,655 yards, 442 touchdowns and 288 interceptions.

In his final season, Favre also extended his quarterback-record streak of consecutive regular-season starts to 253 games — illustrating his trademark toughness.  Add the playoffs, and Favre’s streak stands at 275.

But Favre finished the season on a sour note, struggling in subzero temperatures in a 23-20 overtime loss to the New York Giants in the NFC championship game.

Matt Hasselbeck in his NFL Story for Super Bowl Sunday
by: Sarah

Poor Matt Hasselbeck, all he wants is for fans to notice him and for him to make it to the Super Bowl like the Giants and Patriots.

was pretty funny in this Super Bowl, “Brett Farve doesn’t answer all of his fan mail, do you think you could get his autograph for me?” Poor Hasselbeck, there has to be some fans out there, lets send him some mail.

Hasselbeck plays quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks, home of Jones Soda… I still think ew when I see that soda.
