Wow, I never thought I would read something so asinine, so disgusting and unappealing as the website I ran across today.
I was on CNN and stumbled on a article titled, Forgive us father, we’d rather go online. At first I was intrigued to think about how these people are using the Internet for a better resource than for just news and porn. But after visiting the site and reading some [a lot] of the confessions I grew more and more disgusted.
Not all were bad, but a lot of people were confessing their sins for having premarital sex, watching porn, masturbation, cheating, lying, ect. But when I got to this one in particular, my first thought was, “this person is nuts.”
Oh boy, here comes the crazy:
I screwed up my relationship with God. I love God, but I use to put my ex- above Him. I would get so excited to see this person, I would get butterflies everytime before we would meet, even after years of knowing this person. I loved that person so much, giving them everything I had; my time, my resources, my effort…but in the end, it wasn\’t enough. That person left me. Not the first time either thy has left me. God is a jealous God. He will take things away that hinders our relationship with Him. Since then, my only priority is Him. I worship Him, I pray several times a day, I constantly talk about Him, I serve numerous ministries, I truly love Him with my all; mind, heart, and soul; intentions, money/people, and talent. God longs to be longed, and He seeks to be sought. Never will I make the mistake again of placing something made of flesh over Him. I love that person still, and miss them dearly, but I will stay in faith that God has His divine ways of doing things. I give that person over to God. Sometimes God takes things away, in order to give us more. I will try to let God do the steering, for I know He will take care of me if an accident occurs. If I drive, I am the only one liable if an accident happens. I love you, Jesus, who will now be my 1st love hence forth.
Now, after reading that, how many of you agree with that person? How many of you are thinking that individual is completely insane?
This is the real world folks. You can’t depend on an imaginary friend to hold your hand through everything in life. The Bible is just a book, you don’t see people out there in The Church of now do you?

Good news for those Potter fans out there, the seventh book will be split into two separate movies. I can already hear the excitement, and the outrage. Excitement for the new news on the movie for the seventh book, and the release dates. But the outrage comes from those level-headed fans who think, “I’ve been saying all along that they should be splitting the 4th, 5th and 6th!”
After the last two films, my friends and I have left the theater in a bit of a depression. The movies were good, but they could have been better if they split them up and took the time to explain a few things.
I guess I’ll have to see how the Half Blood Prince comes out when it debuts November of this year!

“The Tales of Beedle and Bard” is the new book to come out. The book has nothing to do with Harry, Ron or Hermione but it does come from their world. The book was given to Hermione by Albus Dumbledore in the final book of Harry Potter. They used the book to discover the “Deathly Hallows” and stop Voldemorte. Rowling said this book gave her the chance to end the seventeen year life of Harry Potter. Only seven copies of the book will be published, one for auction and the other six are gifts.
CNN reported that, “the volume, bound in brown morocco leather and mounted with silver and semiprecious stones, will be auctioned at Sotheby’s on December 13 with a starting price of $62,000. Proceeds will go to The Children’s Voice, a charity that helps vulnerable children across Europe.”
His auto-biography takes the reader through his life with chapter titles like, “The Yardbirds,” “Cream,” “Blind Faith” and “Derek and the Dominos.”
CNN:
Clapton, from his early days with the John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers, quickly assumed a position in the center of the music universe. He hung out with the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, jammed with Muddy Waters and Duane Allman, influenced Stevie Ray Vaughan, Derek Trucks and untold thousands of other guitarists.
Clapton says that his book is not completely without the tabloid drama, he says that he talks about his ex-girlfriend [an Italian model] that Mick Jagger stole and how Clapton drunkenly plotted ways of getting rid of Mick. He also talks about Patti Boyd [she was first with Beatle George Harrison] and how she acted as a muse for some of Clapton’s most memorable songs, “Layla” and “Wonderful Tonight.”
CNN also reports that:
These days, his time is otherwise occupied. Besides family life, Clapton remains involved with the Crossroads treatment center that he founded nearly a decade ago in Antigua — a huge benefit concert was held this past summer. And while he plans to cut back on live shows, Clapton has no plans for retirement.
“I can’t stop touring, and I won’t,” he says emphatically. “I believe I have a responsibility to play for people.”

At Carnegie Hall on Friday the author outed the master wizard Dumbledore. J.K. Rowling was answering questions from the audience when,
She was asked by one young fan whether Dumbledore finds “true love.”
“Dumbledore is gay,” the author responded to gasps and applause.
She then explained that Dumbledore was smitten with rival Gellert Grindelwald, whom he defeated long ago in a battle between good and bad wizards. “Falling in love can blind us to an extent,” Rowling said of Dumbledore’s feelings, adding that Dumbledore was “horribly, terribly let down.”
Dumbledore’s love, she observed, was his “great tragedy.”
She says that not everyone likes her books, and that is so right, Christians dislike it for promoting witchcraft, well now she threw in homosexuality. More power to her, Dumbledore, homosexual or heterosexual either way still an incredible character.
