I think it’s a clever phanatic Phelps phan perspective of the phone network not working.
The room is plastered with images, memorabilia but didn’t get the call that Michael Phelps was just down the street signing autographs, taking pictures and eating Chinese food. So, a good Olympic tie in and a successful commercial.

AT&T always has pretty decent commercials, I especially like the father searching for his absent daughter at make-out point. I love the irony of him “singing” Motorhead’s Ace of Spades while he misses the calls from his buddy trying to offer him Motorhead tickets, what a dillweed. Not much else to say about this one really, so enjoy the spot I’m sure there will be others.

AT&T Cingular used to advertise their prepaid wireless phone plan, the GoPhone.
Why is it that AT&T sucks, but their commercials rock? I was less-than-blessed with AT&T’s internet and cable service and hated it. Luckily I’m out of that situation now, and I have less problems with internet connection loss. AT&T cannot seem to keep their internet connection going, but how is their dropped calls? They advertise the “less dropped calls than our competitors” bit, but do they actually drop less calls? I only drop like 5 calls a year on T-Mobile, tell me AT&T users, how many calls do your drop?
Here is an older AT&T commercial that we posted back in August, Cingular AT&T Dropped Calls | Meat Dept., but still is popular today. So rock on Meatloaf’s AT&T Paradise by the GoPhone Light.
