Oh boy oh boy!! Who went to his concert? Not me, I was working, though my boss and I were thinking of closing shop. To be honest though, I don’t watch American Idol, I don’t have the patience or the time, except for auditions and the funny bits at the end. But David Cooke certainly is a good singer.  He just spent his time back in Kansas City riding in limos, singing at free concerts and enjoying a parade in his honor.

Gotta love that girl who is bawling as he signs her piece of poster board.  I just don’t understand the emotions behind the screaming and tears of die hard fans.  I only enjoy it because that person looks completely ridiculous.

This was on Britain’s Got Talent this weekend, and this little dance was the most amazing thing on the show. Now, you know it’s sad when the most talented being on the show, or in all of Britain, ends up being a canine, right?

Either way, this talented dog happens to be Gin, the dancing dog. Gin’s owner is 16 year old Kate Nicholas, the one frolicking around while her dog does most of the work. Thing is though, Gin learned it from some where, so mad props to Kate and her dog whisperer skills.

On another note, anyone check out that mile-wide-schoolboy grin on Simon Cowell’s face? How strange is that to the regular American Idol scowl?

David Cook, one of the better finalists on American Idol, was sent to the hospital after the show Tuesday night. He apparently was experiencing stress-related heart palpitations. But have no fear, he was released from the hospital later with a prescription to lower his blood pressure.

I’m sure he will be back on the stage as soon as he can, but hopefully the Idol stress on top of the stress of finding out his brother has cancer won’t get to him again and send him into cardiac arrest.

In case of cardiac arrest you can now use the hands only method of CPR, rapid chest compressions 100 per minute.

Buck Hollywood is rather well known now, but here is Michael Buckley’s new American Idol video. It is a bit long, but he talks super duper fast and it is funny.

Former stripper David Hernandez got the boot on this weeks American Idol. I’m not surprised, after his bad publicity, I’m sure only his regular clientèle at his previous gig voted for him. The guy or whatever in that picture is no Kat Von D, sorry if it hurts your eyes.

So back to the pole for you Hernandez, maybe someone like Rosie O’Donnell will pick you up like , or not.

Here is stripper boy’s rendition of Celine Dion’s “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now” on American Idol last night. I thought he was pretty bad to be honest, a little nasaley, and a little pitchy, but that isn’t what I am here to address.. The funny part in the clip is at the end you hear Simon Cowell mutter something about his stripper career off camera.

How fantastic, his previous choice is going to bite him in the ass, much like his previous clientèle.

Wow, I love his interview, especially after the news of his previous career got out.  He sits there speaking to the camera about being embarrassed about people seeing his package in a leotard back when he did gymnastics.

Well, this not so shy American Idol contestant was a stripper for three years up until September 30, 2007, according to his ex-manager, Gordy Bryan.  Evidently he was a male stripper in a Phoenix night club where the majority of his clientèle was male.  Apparently Hernandez fit in rather well according to Bryan, “He had the look and the type that people like, so he made pretty good money here.”

Those in fear of not seeing Mr. Helicopter Hernandez again after this news leaked, don’t worry, he will be back on Tuesday as planned.

Now, think back to previous American Idol scandals, “In 2003, finalist Frenchie Davis was dismissed because of her appearance on an adult Web site; but last year, Antonella Barba remained in the competition after racy photos of her surfaced on the Internet.”  What on Earth is the difference between these three cases?  No clue, American Idol is pretty random on this subject.  But then again it is up to the public to see how far these contestants go after they pass the AI test.  Will the public vote more or less for Hernandez after they learned he did the helicopter on stage?

Wow, this news clip had me laughing. I am not sure if it was the fact that Sanjaya was offered a television show, or the little girl crying as he sings on American Idol.

Sanjaya and his sister Shyamali have been offered to do a television show. It just goes to show that even if you don’t win American Idol, some how some where you will land a job in the entertainment industry apparently.

I don’t know how many of you out there witnessed the mighty speech of Alexis Cohen of American Idol 7’s Philly auditions, but lucky for everyone this video includes her wonderful speech.

She was one of the contestants with the balls to stand up to the interview camera, oh wait.. everyone with an attitude and lack of talent does.

Either way these guys made her grotesque speech into a beautiful motivational song.

After watching American Idol for the last 7 years (yes mostly for the odd ball auditions) you can pick out who might make it to Hollywood and beyond. Just search in the upper right for all the American Idol posts we have done over the years.

Based on the editing and the look of the Nina Shaw segment, I think Nina Shaw will be in the top 20.

I could be wrong but after a couple searches, I might be right.
