Sony Bravia | Play Doh
by: Sarah

I stumbled upon some beautiful innovative advertisements by Sony for their Bravia televisions. This commercial just makes me miss the days of sitting at the table molding my Play Doh in odd shapes, I naturally sucked at sculpture in the Play Doh era, while my mom complained of having to clean up the mess. Sigh, fond memories.

Ephemeral artwork is always the most interesting to me. It takes a certain kind of person to make something that will deteriorate on such a short time. The most well-known ephemeral artist that comes to mind is Julian Beever, you know, that side walk chalk artist. Beever’s stuff is amazing and has been featured everywhere, almost everyone knows him, even if it isn’t by name.
