The HiPR-900 is a high speed, license-free ISM band (902-928 MHz) industrial data radio designed to transmit secure data over Ethernet and/or serial connections to an IP based network. DATARADIO, claims their patent-pending Parallel Decode technology combines Spatial Diversity and Smart Combining to give the HiPR-900 “increased sensitivity plus immunity to multi-path producing a more reliable radio link.” I was sent a video of the HiPR-900 running below, so it must be real.
The radio management is through an embedded web server that provides browser access to general information and configuration of network parameters. The HiPR-900 can be user programmed in both bridge and router modes.
