Apple’s credit is for customers who bought the phone at its original price.
Jobs publicly announced the $100 store credit and says,
“We want to do the right thing for our valued iPhone customers,” Jobs wrote in an email to iPhone customers. “We apologize for disappointing some of you, and we are doing our best to live up to your high expectations of Apple.”
Apparently customers were outraged and complained about the sudden decrease in price.
Do you think the $100 is good compensation for the $200 dollar decrease?
