Another woman has come forward after being told to cover up on a flight with Southwest. Qassim, a 21 year old, was on a flight from Tusco, Arizona to Burbank, California when she was asked if she had a sweater to cover up her green halter top styled dress. CNN.com reported
Qassim, 21, told KNBC-TV in Los Angeles she was forced to wrap a blanket around herself for the rest of the flight. She complained that if Southwest wants passengers to dress a certain way, it should publish a dress code.
Apparently Qassim never fully complained about her ‘harassment’ so the airlines has no proof about this case. If I were to board a plane in provocative clothing I would expect this treatment. I will admit I wear mini skirts and dresses that hit mid-thigh, but I try to always cover up. Honestly, I think Kyla Ebbert only should be able to get an apology but if she were to sue for anything other than the price of her flight, then that would be a little over the top.
