As a daily Mac user I love posting these adverts, but this one is a little out there.  Mac has its issues, I haven’t encountered any since I am still on the G4 and running the fine-tuned Tiger.

On the Windows side of life, have you heard about Johnny Knoxville helping out on the Windows side?  Apparently Knoxville is going to take on Justin Long.  That is just what I hear, but I sure do hope it’s true.

Like Microsoft or not, Bill Gates has given billions to help others and exits with a sense of humor. What more could you ask for…CEO’s take note. Make a shit load of money, give it back and be willing to make fun of yourself. Found on TMZ of all places, from CES. Wish I was there.

I like these “who’s playing” commercials pushing World of Warcraft.

I can’t stop thinking of the E3’s Leroy Viral Release anytime WoW comes up, that we posted here in 2005, and a follow up in 2007.

The original Go Leroy was just so damn funny. I do like the strategy here of showing who is behind the character and what type of character the celebrity is.

Of the ones I have seen, the Mr. T version is my fav.

Here is a “connected” commercial from Cisco but all I can remember from it is the Asian girl.

She is in and the commercial makes it sound like Cisco is the unified company of all communications, which I doubt.

Regardless of that, great casting.

The Discovery Channel is one of my favorite channels, I like most of what they produce.

They have also done a quick download media player so you can watch the shows you have missed in very good quality.

I missed Last Man Standing on Thursday and tonight I watch the entire show, with no commercials, tonight on a 19″ screen with little distortion. Watch out advertisers, this is another way to cut you out.

In this episode the guys are Aki Kiti (kick fighting) in Nagaland with the Sumi tribe. Very interesting watching but not for the faint of heart and not just because it can be brutal but becuase they eat a dog for strength…which they didn’t know until well into the meal.

In keeping up with the tennis posts, here is another installment of the very creative HP commercials. (having unique urls is a smart and nice touch).

This time they showcase Serena Williams, which is a great choice and the commercial is fitting.

The video game segment is really funny and shows that Serena is not as cold as some may say.

Here he is at it again, based on my last post: , I can’t wait for Ray to be right. This clip is from The Universe series on the History Channel with is just amazing. Some of the best T.V. on T.V. (Yes I watch this and Miami/LA Ink)

I really do hope for nanobots to go in and fix my nerve damage.

Sure I could be hacked by terrorists in 2030 but I’m willing to risk it and hope that Symantec has “human virus software” by then. I long for the day when I plug in and hit “Update Me”. Someone should trademark that NOW.
